Fikr-e-Zamaan Welfare Society’s Roshan Qabristan Project – Facilitating Burial and Arranging Quranic Recitation

Fikr-e-Zamaan Welfare Society has always been at the forefront of charitable work and taking positive steps for societal improvement. In line with this spirit, the society launched the “Roshan Qabristan Project,” under which streetlights were installed in three cemeteries in Lahore (Gulshan Ravi Block D-2 Cemetery, Tufail Road Cemetery, and Main Sanda Kalan Stop Cemetery). The purpose of this initiative was to reduce the difficulties faced during nighttime burials, enabling relatives to perform the last rites of their loved ones with ease.

Additionally, sound systems were installed in these cemeteries to arrange the recitation of the Quran from Fajr to Zuhr prayers, ensuring that the deceased are honored with Quranic recitation and providing spiritual comfort to those who visit.
